About: This style redefines NSW Chardonnay. The cool climate of Tumbarumba, at the foothills of the Snowy Mountains, is ideally suited to producing lean, elegant and refined Chardonnays such as this.
Viticulture: Extremely cool climate. Hand picked fruit from our Single Vineyard at an altitude of 650m.
Wine making: 100% free-run juice straight into barrel, fermented in French barriques with partial batonage.
Tasting Notes: Bright and lifted with citrus, fig and nutty complexity. The palate is long and elegant with the varietal flavours, knitting in neatly with subtle toasty French oak, adding a moorish, spicy, nutty complexity.
